First Blog- Favorites for this month so far and August.

I have been very busy with school starting to start this blog. I have been trying a lot of things makeup and non-makeup items that I'm loving this month.

My first item is John Frieda Root Awakening Smoothing Lotion. It been working amazing to brings out the shine to the root to the ends. The smell is also amazing as well. I'm not really having any problems with this problem really. I usually put in on when my hair is wet and goes on pretty good. Right now, it's rating pretty good on my favorites as of this month.

My next product is also from John Frieda as well. It's the Frizz-Ease Straight Fixation Smoothing Creme. This product also smells amazing. My hair is actually natural curly but I put this on for the frizz really. I put this product on after the root awaking lotion then I put this on. It keeps the frizz that I sometimes do have.

Here's my favorite makeup items. There are a lot of items. Sorry. This is my first post. So there is going to be a lot of items of course. There are a few sorta maybe's on this list. I will tell you if I like them or not. There are two on this list that I just didn't love using this past month. Those will be the last. I bought these items in either July/August with my own money. I'm not supported by these companies. I just love using them.

Likes:

1. Urban Decay Naked Palette: $48.00
This is the must of the season. It was kinda hard to get but I got it. The eye shadows on this palette makes it very easy to do a neutral eye then add a little smoke to the neutral for a night out with the girls. I just love this palette. If you don't have this palette you need to it. I got the one with the brush. I was a little disappointed that Urban Decay stopped the 2010 palette that came with the eyeliner. So I had to go out and buy the eyeliner. But I was happy with the brush that it came with and the little travel size eye shadow primer.

2. Benefit Big Beautiful Eyes: $32.00
This palette is something I wasn't really sure about. I heard some good things and some bad things from people. To me, I'm still using this. It comes with Benefit's Boi-ing 02 Concealer (which I love) from this palette. It's just a very easy concealer that I put on before I put on the base color (which is the lightest color) in this palette. Which is the base color, it makes it very hard to see because it looks so light on my very light skin tone. The next color is the contour color. Which is darker really in person then in this picture. I put this color in the crease. The color is actually a mid brown really. After I apply that I put the last color which is called eye liner color. It's a muted black eyeliner. The picture actually doesn't do this palette justice. Sorry. I do love palette. You can do naturals very well. That's why I love using it. Of course, I have heard people say that it does dry out. Since I do my makeup in my room and not the bathroom; it hasn't dried out yet. I also live in Alaska where it's not very hot here. Of course, I make sure that I close it every time I use it. So that I might be the reason that it hasn't dried out.

3. Mac Semi Precious Crystal Pink: $28.00
I just started using Mac products. So my collection is very small right now. Maybe in the future it will continue to grow since I'm just starting out. This item was the second item of Mac that I bought ever. I bought the Semi Precious Crystal Pink because some many people very happy with it. I'm happy to say that this is probably one of products I reach for really of Mac's. I use this sometimes as a blush really. The color is just right for me. I mix both the inner and outer color together to make this really beautiful rosy color. So I"m very happy with this purchase. If you are looking to buy from Mac then you really need to add this to your list.

4. Mac Skin Finish Soft and Gentle:$28.00

This is my very first item that I bought from Mac. I really loved this product. I use as a highlight to light my face up. It just does just that and it does it very good. I love using this. It's very soft and when you put it on; make me feel like I'm not even wearing makeup. I love that. This is another product that I heard so many good comments about that I decided to get it. And I love it. I have had it since July and still has a circle or dome like to it.

5. Mac Studio Finish Concealer NC-15:
I actually got two of these concealers. I wasn't sure if I was going to like this. I didn't really hear a whole lot about this item. I use it to hide any thing on my face. I wouldn't recommend this for concealer for under eye concealer. This is meant to wear to cover things on your face. I have tried it on under eye and it wasn't working for that. But now I just use it to cover anything that's on my face that needs covering.  I do love that covers what I need cover for. Does pretty well.

6. and 7. are Mac Eye Shadows All That Glitters and Expensive Pink: $14.50 each (Macy's).

The first one (top one) is All that Glitters and the second one is (button one) is Expensive Pink. These are actually my first two single eye shadows that I have ever owned. These are my recent purchase. Both of the colors are very shimmery colors. I use them really for highlights to highlight on the eyebrow area. I'm really loving these two products really. I wanted to group these two products together since I bought them at the same time. Very happy with these two products.

Next few items are drugstore items:

8.Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush:
This blush is very creamy and I love using it. I have it in 20-Peach Satin. With that color you can barely see it. I'm going to buy maybe a darker color or a lighter color. I'm not too sure really. I will do that maybe next month. It's very easy to use. I'm in love with this product. But I'm very concerned that they just discontinued one item from this item. Just when I just found out about it. They might be discontinuing it. Which has me worry. So I might have to buy another one early before it leaps from the counter.

9. Maybelline Eye Shadow Silken Taupe:
I'm been lately using this as an all over the lid color. The picture doesn't do it justice. It's actually lighter then what's shown in the picture. Someone on Youtube told me it was a dupe for Mac's Satin Taupe. I just love using this as an all over the lid color. Which my skin tone it makes it very pretty. I also put on Wet n' Wild Eye Shadow Palette Walking on Eggshells the very top color on my eye brow area and in the tear drop area.

10. Wet n' Wild-Walking on Eggshells:
The picture is the wrong item. But it's the same line. Sorry couldn't find a photo of the actually product. I was actually told a few weeks after I bought this that it was a dupe for a Mac Expensive Pink and I was disappointed in myself really. But I'm still a little disappointed in myself. But oh well. I have been enjoying using this product really. I have used Wet n' Wild products before and have been pleased with this company really. It's very inexpensive makeup really. Love them really.

11. and 12. Maybelline Instand Age Rewind Primer and Maybelline Cover Stick Concealer:

I"m now just grouping the same company together. Sorry if you don't like this. But it saves me time really. The top is the Cover Stick concealer. I put this under my eye area and under my nose area. This product does what I want it to do. It's on my maybe list right now. The second one (button one) is the primer I use if I want to wear my makeup all days. Which I have been doing since my days are longer now with school, rehearsals and such. Also does what I need it to do. I'm actually looking for a primer that does a better job. If someone wants to point me in the direction of a face primer that will keep my makeup on my face all day then please tell me. But I'm been okay with them so far. I might just stay with them really.

13. and 14. Physicians Formula Powder Palette Mineral Glow Pearls (in Translucent Pearl) and Organic Wear Pressed Powder:

These two products are actually on the pricey side of makeup. The first one (top one) I had to go to two stores to find. They didn't have it at my local Wal-Mart. I actually had to go to Fred Meyer's. I have been really enjoying it. It goes on very light. It feels like your not even wearing makeup. I love that.  The second one (button one) I wear this one has either a blush sometimes or as a highlight.I actually enjoy wearing this product as well. Both products are very high on my likes right now. But still in mind it's still very pricey. Both of the products were near 13 to 15 dollars. Which can be a lot for some people. Just keep that in mind.

15. Cover Girl Lash Blash Volume Mascara
This is my favorite mascara that I love using recently. The only thing I don't like is the smell of it. So if you get pass the smell of the mascara then it might work for you. I just love using it. Better then my old Cover girl mascara really. I haven't really notice if it gives volume but I just love the package that it comes with. Love it. In the future I will continue to buy this.

16.Essie-Buy Me a Cameo
Sorry couldn't get the picture to work. But it says on the Essie website as "a frosted satin mocha". I would say that it's a little rosy really. But whatever. It's on my list. I just found Essie products at my local Fred Meyer's and Wal-Mart recently. I'm so glad that they are there. Because I don't think Ulta would have sent it to me. I'm really liking the Essie product line really. I just started buying them this month. I'm very happy right now. So far so good.

17. Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick and 18. Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss:

I just found these one day in July. I only have four each of them. So I have for the lipglosses: 020-Pink Afterglow, 130-Pink Whisper, 150-Peach Petal, and 180-Pink Pop. Sorry I couldn't find pictures of each of the colors. Pink Afterglow is pink with glitter in it. Pink Whisper is shimmery but is a lite pink really. Peach Petal is just a nude really. And Pink Pop is like what the title says it's pink with pop to it. It's a very pinky color really. The lipsticks that I have are 415-Pink in the Afternoon, 430-Softsilver Rose, 450-Gentlemen Prefer Pink, and 616-Wink for Pink. Pink the Afternoon is a not to dark pink. Love wearing this color. Softsilver Rose is a rose color lipstick. I wouldn't call it red either. It's just a nice rose color. Gentlemen Prefer Pink when I saw this color kinda remained me of the movie (Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, by the way great movie). The color is a very dark pink really. I put this color with one of the top glosses and it makes my lips pop. The last one Wink for pink. I think this color was a special limited edition color supporting breast cancer. But I'm not sure. I think that's why I bought it really. It's a very soft pink really. I love wearing this with pink in the Afternoon. Talk about pop really.

19. Neutrogena Healthy Skin
I love this foundation. It makes my skin very healthy. I really enjoying wearing it. At first I wasn't too sure about getting it. But I'm in love with it. I'm so glad I bought it. Very happy with it. It is also very pricey. It was $13 dollars when I bought it. But still have a ways to go before I go and buy it again. So maybe that's a plus really.

20. Eos lip balm Summer fruit
I love this product. I found this product at my local Wal-Mart and I was so happy. I just wish they had more colors really. But maybe they will in the future. I will buy more because they look and feel so good on my lips.

My favorite perfumes this month are: Lucky You by Lucky Brand (Rollerball) and Britney Spears

Sorry that the pictures are so small. I couldn't find any big pics of them. I have been wearing both really. I just love the smell and feel of both of these perfumes. So that's why there my favorite perfumes this month.

The Maybe's:
Cover Girl Natureluxe, Cover Girl Agua Smoothers Tinted Moisture, Cover Girl Smoothers, and Neutrogena Skin Clearing blemish concealer.

These products are on my maybe's list because of the simple fact that I haven't made up my mind on them really. Both the Nature luxe and Smoothers Foundations are very good I guess I'm just not all that sure of the product really. And maybe it's because of the packaging really. I'm not sold yet. Give me a month or so and maybe I will be sold on these products. Nothing is wrong with these products. I just haven't made up my mind on them.

The Don'ts:
Cover Girl Natureluxe Mascara and Cover Girl Professional Remarkable Mascara:

I just had problems with these two mascaras the last few months. One of both I don't know what was in it just  burned my eyeballs. They hurt so much from them. I just didn't like these two products. I don't know why. I really love Cover girl. I have been buying Cover girl since I have been a teenager. But these two products made me really want to call Cover Girl Headquarters really. I was that upset with them. But I didn't.

Okay so that's it for this month. Maybe next month favorites won't be so long. I'm sorry if you think this is too long. But keep in mind this is my very first blog. So thank you if you read it. If you have questions, ideas, comments please leave them. Please don't hate on me too much.
